There is nothing that chips away at your immune system like chronic stress. Mindfulness meditation has been scientifically proven to improve the body’s immune response to disease, reduce pain and stress hormones, and increase attention. If you have always wanted to learn to meditate, would like to learn more or expand your current practice, you will find this group welcoming.
The benefits of meditation on mind, body and spirit are life changing; however learning how to meditate and making it a part of your daily regimen can be challenging. While the most famous yogi’s and spiritual leaders assert to meditating 2+ hours per day, a mere 10 minutes can have the same effect. In this course, we will be discussing the elements of meditation and engaging in 30 minutes of guided group practice followed by Q&A/experience sharing at the discretion of the participants. Take the time to center yourself and feel the enhanced energy that group meditation provides.
